ten minutes

"ten minutes" is a composition entirely created through a combination of live generative processes. Every performance of the piece is one of a kind. The bizarre recorded conversation, taken from an audiobook recording, has been shredded into segments and then arranged and manipulated through algorithmic processes. Density is the primary parameter of the work. As the piece progresses, one can detect the thinning of content and the emergence of unlikely material in a play of order and rhythm.
